"Nhi,nhi yaha se nhi,waha se wo wale uncle se lo corn chaat"Nirvair said as Aayat,Iknoor and Inaya were about to purchase the corn chat which was quite popular in Mahabaleshwar.

"Kyu?yaha acha nhi h kya?"Aayat asked.

"Nhi baba,woh wale uncle ko mein bht time se jaanta hu,unse hi lo isliye"Nirvair said ushering them all to another stall of sweet corns.

"Aap corn chaat walon ko bhi jaante h?"Hriday couldn't help but ask.

"Mein sabko jaanta hu"Nirvair said and asked the man to give them 3 corn chats.

The man instantly recognised him and gave him a smile.

"Arre isbaar lagta h aap  bhabhi ko lekr aaye h!"The man said beaming as he saw the three ladies.

Nirvair laughed hearing that comment but Iknoor was a bit confused.

"Haa isbaar lekr aaya hu"Nirvair said pointing towards Iknoor and the man smiled seeing her.

"Bhabhi ji,bhaiya itni baar aa chuke h yaha pr aaj tak kisi ladki ko lekr hi nhi aaye!"The man said and Iknoor didn't knew what she was supposed to say.

"Bhaiya aap dijiye na chaat"Nirvair said trying to stop the awkward conversation.

They all took the corn chaat and had it,then the ladies had those giant cotton candy that the local sellers were selling.Actually Iti was demanding that from her papa but the ladies too bought that for themselves along with her.

"Mein gaadi lekr aata hu,tum log yahi ruko"Nirvair said as he went to get the car which as parked on the side.

The ladies waited for him along with Iti because Hriday had gone to get a water bottle for them because Iti was thirsty and Aahad was attending a call at the side.

"Ki maal h yrr!"They heard some comments and whistles from behind them and the three of them turned to see a young boy,must be a teenager who was checking them out from behind.

Iknoor glared at the boy.

"Kinni soni bhi h yrr!"The man again said to his friend who too was staring at them in a creepy way.

"Yrr beech wali bht mast h,kya baal h,kya chehra h!"The man said looking directly at Iknoor.

"Ek thappad padega na saari aashiqui bahar aa jaani h!"Iknoor said as she glared at the boys.

"Thik se dhadhi mucch bhi nhi aayi h aur ladkiya taad rahe h yaha khade hokr,meine ek chittar maarni h dono ke!"Iknoor said,the Punjaban in her trying to get out ferociously.

"Aapko dekhkr thodi bol rahe the!"The man said getting a little embarrassed and scared of being caught.

"Mere muh pr chutiya likha hua h kya?idhar se dafa ho jao nhi toh padegi meri jutti se ek ek dono ko!aaye bade ladkiya taadne wale!ghar pe maa-behen nhi h kya?unke liye bhi aisa hi bolte ho!"Iknoor said truly bashing the two boys who were very embarrassed now.

Before she could say anything more they ran from their being thoroughly insulted.

"Bhabhi shant ho jaiye,chale gaye h woh!"Aayat said because Iknoor was still very angry.

"Ek ek thappad khate na seedhe ho jaate!Umar dekho unki aur harkatein dekho!"Iknoor said angrily.

"Badi maa aap gussa kyu h?"Iti asked because she didn't understand why her Badi maa was getting so angry.

"Kyuki woh log bad the!jab bhi aise koi aapko dekhkr whistle maarte h,ya kuch comments paas krte h na Iti toh unhe bolna chahiye ki aisa mat karo!yeh galat hota h,samjah aaya aapko?"Iknoor asked and Iti nodded her head at that.

"Aur badi maa ne abhi jo bhi kaha na beta unn ladko se usse bhul jao okay?"Iknoor added that too because she had said cussed in front of her and she didn't want Iti to pick that up and say it in future.

"Sorry yrr,meri na gaaliya nikal jaati h jab aise faltu log milte h toh"Iknoor said and Aayat nodded understanding her.

"It's okay bhabhi"Aayat said.

Nirvair came with the car till then and they all got into the car without saying anything to the men.

They drove towards a nice hotel and settled after placing an order.

Nirvair was scrolling down his phone randomly as he whistled with it making Iti frown at his act.

"Buddy"Iti called out and Nirvair looked at her gesturing her to go on.

"Aap bad ho rahe h"Iti said making him and everyone else confused.

"Aap aisa kyu bol rahi h Iti?"Hriday asked his daughter.

"Kyuki badi maa ne kaha h ki aise koi seeti maare toh woh bad h,usse mana krna chahiye,jese badi maa ne unn uncle ko roka tha!"Iti said and all the men looked at Iknoor then.

What happened?

"Yeh kya bol rahi h Iti?"Nirvair asked looking at his wife.

"Kuch nhi,ek idiot tha,I handled him"Iknoor said dismissing it instantly.

"You should have called me"Nirvair said still looking at his wife.

"Kuch nhi tha Nirvair,he was a kid,meine handle kr liya tha"Iknoor said and Nirvair sighed deeply.

"Aapko hame bula lena chahiye tha bhabhi!"Hriday too said and Iknoor sighed hearing that.

"It wasn't a big thing Hriday,I swear baccha tha woh,bhaag gaya tha woh wese bhi"Iknoor said the last part looking at her husband who didn't seem okay with it.

Nirvair didn't say anything to her then.They all had a quiet lunch with just the ladies talking among themselves.

Post lunch they drove away towards a waterfall which was a lil far from where they were.After almost 2 hours they reached there and the girls squealed watching the waterfall.

"Wow!"Iknoor said the only thing that came to her mind watching it.

"Kaash hum bheeg paate!"Inaya said and Iknoor looked at her.

"Kyu nhi bheeg sakte?"Iknoor asked looking at her.

"Yeh dress mein kese?aur extra kapde bhi nhi h hamare paas"Inaya said.

"Humko gaadi mein hi toh bethna h,seedhe hotel chale jayenge!"Iknoor said her eyes were shining brightly at her own thought.

"Geele bethenge gaadi mein?"Aayat asked.

"Usmein kya ho gaya, thodi derr mein sukh bhi jayenge agar windows open rakhenge toh"Iknoor said.

The two knew if Iknoor had made up her mind she was going to take them along so they both didn't even oppose her idea.

"Iti aap ander nhi jaa sakti h,yeh bht ghera hoga beta,aur aapko thand bhi lag jayegi"Hriday said as he picked up his daughter in his arms who wanted to go into the waterfall.

"Kisi ko bhi ander nhi jaana chahiye,paani bht thanda hoga"Aahad said to everyone and the girl all pouted hearing that.

They wanted to go!

"Tum sab yaha betho phir,Iti ko bhi sambhal lena,hum teeno ander jaa rahe h"Iknoor said because she knew neither Aayat nor Inaya was going to say anything.

"Bhabhi pr....

"Arre kuch nhi hota h,paani itna gehra bhi nhi h,hum sirf waterfall ke neeche khade honewale h"Iknoor said shutting him before he could say anything.

"Inaya paani bht thanda hoga,tum bimar pad jaogi"Aahad shared his concern for his wife and Inaya sighed.

Here comes the protective and caring husband.

"Kuch nhi hoga Aahad, zyada thanda nhi hoga paani"Inaya said because she wanted to go into the waterfall.

It wasn't daily one visits a waterfall after all.

The three then didn't hear anything and straight away went into the water.Thankfully Aayat's periods had ended yesterday itself so she was also able to join them.

As soon as they entered the water they all shreiked because the water was very cold.

But they ignored it and continued going deep till they reached the waterfall.Standing under it they were soaked,yet they were enjoying it.

"Yrr kisi ko toh photo kheechne bolna padega"Iknoor said because they wanted good pics at the waterfall.

"Meri taraf toh dekhiye bhi mat,agar mein bimar pad gayi na iss sabke baad toh Aahad bht gussa karenge,aur  cameraman toh woh kisi bhi halat mein nhi banane wale h hamare liye"Inaya said immediately as the other two looked at her.

"Hriday bhi bht chide huye h ki hum yaha paani ke ander aaye h,woh phele hi mana kr rahe the,humne zidd ki h,ab photo kheechne bolenge toh bilkul nhi kheechenge"Aayat said as the two looked at her then.

Inaya and Aayat then looked at Iknoor.

"Woh nhi manega!wese bhi mujhe lag raha h ki woh uss seeti aur ladke wali baat se thoda chida hua h"Iknoor said.

"Aapke saamne Bhai wese bhi kaha kuch bol paate h!aapki baat maan hi jayenge bhabhi"Aayat said and Inaya agreed with her.

Iknoor sighed but nodded,she needed pics after all otherwise what was she going to post?

"Nirvair,zara hum teeno ki pics click karo na"Iknoor said as she called out to him.

Nirvair didn't say anything and got into the water holding his mobile phone as they all posed and he just silently clicked their pics.

Post that the girl's stayed in the water for sometime just enjoying the calmness that surrounded the waterfall.

It felt good to be away from the chaotic life they all had because of their work and all.

"Tumhe kya hua h?"Iknoor couldn't help but ask because Nirvair was silent even during the dinner and now also he was quietly sitting just scrolling through his phone.

"Kuch nhi"Nirvair said but she was sure something was the matter because Nirvair couldn't keep quiet for even 2 mins.

"Kuch toh hua h"She further pushed it.

"Shouldn't matter to you Iknoor"Nirvair said in the same way she had told him yesterday.

"Right,I am the unwanted wife,mujhe puchna hi nhi tha"Iknoor said bitterly and that was enough to instigate him.

He had been trying to keep his anger at bay since he had heard about a random guy commenting and whistling at his wife.

"Agar tum mujhe kuch bataogi nhi na toh mein bhi nhi batane wala okay?"Nirvair said and she gave him a confused look at that.

What had she hidden from him?

"Mein kya nhi bataya h tumhe?sab toh pata h tumhe!ulata tum ho jo baatein chupate ho!shadi na krne ki baat bhi tumne mujhe nhi batayi thi!"Iknoor said turning towards him now.

"Baar baar na yeh shadi wali baat mat nikalo okay!"Nirvair said.

"Kyu na nikalu?sach h na yeh baat!"Iknoor said and he glared at her then.

"Iknoor tum maano na maano,yeh shadi ho chuki h,tum meri biwi ho!"Nirvair said and she scoffed at hearing that.

"Aur agli baar se koi bhi ladka tumhari taraf aankh uthakr bhi dekhe na toh tum mujhe bataogi!"He said it was like an order which infuriated her more.

"Acha!aur kya kr loge tum?"She asked.

"Muh tod dunga saale ka!"He said angrily.

"Kis haq se?tumhe toh yeh shadi chahiye nhi thi kal tak!aaj mujhe koi chedd raha h toh bht gussa aa raha h?kyu?"Iknoor asked glaring at him.

He should be clear about what he needs.

He doesn't wants this marriage but wants to beat any guy who even stared at her.

What was this?

What did he want from her?

"Kyuki tum meri biwi ho!tum mano na mano,bhale mujhse chidti raho,gussa karo mujhpr but sach yahi h ki we are married!and that's why koi bhi tumhe chedega,galat tareeke se dekhega,ghatiya baatein bolega tumhare liye toh uska muh tod dunga mein!"Nirvair said angrily and the fire he had in his eyes did scared her.

Well she had never seen Nirvair angry.

He was always so calm,chilled,fun loving,she is the one who always taunts him and fights with him too,he always just keeps quiet.

Well he deserves all that too!

"Meine handle kr liya tha"She said slowly then and he took a deep breath.

This girl was seriously messing with his brain too much!

She still wants to say that she had handled everything!

Why couldn't she just agree with what he says just for once in her life?

"You know what Iknoor,tumhe kuch samajhana matlab dewar pr sarr patakne jesa h!"Nirvair said as he went towards the balcony leaving her alone.

Iknoor sighed.

What wrong had she done now?

Was it wrong to handle stupid men on their own?

He wasn't even there with her at that time.

She can't wait for him to come and save her.

She wasn't a damsel in distress.

She thought something and immediately marched towards the balcony and stood beside him glaring at him.

"Tum koi mere knight in the shining armour nhi ho okay!na mein koi abla naari hu jisse help ki zarurat ho!mein apne aap ko protect kr sakti hu!ab yeh sunke agar tumhari male ego hurt hoti h toh mein kuch nhi kr sakti usmein"Iknoor said staring at him.

Nirvair sighed.

He wasn't being egoistic about it.

He just had this internal feeling to always protect her,help her,be there for her.

Even though she thinks he is pretending it all,he isn't.

"I just want to keep you safe, protected,I am not being egoistic about it Iknoor"Nirvair said looking at her.

"You don't have to,mein tumhari kuch nhi hu,mere liye kuch nhi krna chahiye tumhe"She said staring right into his eyes.

"Fine tum meri kuch nhi ho!but mere mumma-papa ne mujhe sikhaya h ek ladki ko kese treat krte h and mere hisab se agar koi kisi ladki ko ched raha h toh mein aage jaakr uski help karunga bhale uss ladki ko acha lage ya na lage"Nirvair said.

"Kya tumhare mumma-papa ne tumhe kisi ladki ko humiliate krna bhi sikhaya h?usse jhoot bolkr shadi krna bhi sikhaya h?"She couldn't shut her mouth as the words came out of her mouth.

She still hasn't come to terms with his actions and maybe she never will!

Nirvair sighed.

"Tum kabhi uss baat ko chodogi?"He asked.

"Nhi....kyuki yeh sacchai h hamare rishte ki"Iknoor said.

"Iknoor mei....

"Please Nirvair,tum kuch bhi bolkr apen actions justify nhi kr sakte....mein yaha tumhe sirf yeh batane aayi thi ki mujhe tumhare help,support ya kisi cheez ki zarurat nhi h,I can take care of myself!"She said and left the balcony leaving him alone this time.
