Iknoor the came downstairs with Nirvair following her behind.

Ikbir stared at his sister wanting to know if Nirvair was able to convince her or not.

"Kya socha h tune Noorie?"Ikbir asked his sister.

"Mujhe resign nhi krna h"Iknoor said and Ikbir sighed in relief hearing that.

He stared at Nirvair who had a smirk on his face to which he rolled his eyes.

"Good,finally tujhe samajh aa hi gaya"Ikbir said and Nirvair narrowed his eyes at that.

"Mujhe jaana chahiye Bhai,mujhe uncle ko batana padega ki mujhe job continue krni h,I don't want to lose this job because of any reason"Iknoor said and Ikbir nodded.

"Toh phone pr bata do,sakshat jaakr batane ki kya zaroorat h,papa samajh jayenge"Nirvair butted in and said but Iknoor shook her head in denial at that.

"Nhi,mujhe khud jaakr hi batana h"Iknoor said and then Nirvair didn't say anything.

"Thik h toh kal chali jaana,abhi wese bhi sham ho chuki h"Ikbir said but Iknoor shook her head in denial at that making him sigh.

"Fine,jaa phir"Ikbir said and she nodded at that.

Because Ikbir had brought her with him in his car Iknoor didn't have her car with her,it was obvious that she would go with her husband now because they didn't want their families to think that something was off between them.

Nirvair took his bike and waited for Iknoor to bid by to her brother and sister in law so that they could go then.

Though Ikbir didn't approve of the bike he didn't say anything.

Iknoor hopped on the bike behind Nirvair,it was a bit difficult because his was a super bike and so the passenger seat was a bit higher,but she managed somehow and they drove away.

Once they reached Sehgal House Iknoor took a deep breath and entered inside, Nirvair following her behind.

The family was sitting on the living room,the ladies obviously in the kitchen as it was evening and they must be making tea and coffee for everyone.

Everyone saw Iknoor and smiled looking at her which she tried to return.

She looked at Mahir who sat on a single couch.

Nirvair walked behind her and everyone understood that he had got her back because if Ikbir would have brought her back he would have atleast met them.

"Badi maa,aap wapas aa gayi?"Iti asked and Iknoor couldn't help but smile looking at her.

Iknoor nodded and then Iti went to her buddy.

"Uncle mujhe aapse kuch baat krni thi"Iknoor said as she approached him.

Mahir nodded and gestured her to sit.

"Papa isse...

"Let her talk Nirvair"Mahir said making Nirvair pout.

"Toh kya socha h tumne?do you want the job or should I hire someone else?"Mahir asked even though he knew that his son had convinced her because otherwise she wouldn't have come back within a day that too with Nirvair.

Iknoor was quiet for a moment,she wasn't sure how to frame her answer.

"Isse job....

"Tum do min chup rahoge?mujhse baat ho rahi h"Iknoor said looking at her husband who was unnecessaryily butting in the conversation.

"Ha toh khud hi bolo na phir!"Nirvair said looking at her who galred at him.

"Ek toh khud yeh bol nhi rahi h,mein bol raha hu toh mujhe bhi chup kara rahi h!"Nirvair said making Iknoor glare more at him.

"Tum do min chup rahoge na tab bol paungi mein!"Iknoor said in a scolding manner making him shut up.

The family was enjoying the lil fight as they had for the first time seen any form of interaction between the couple.

The siblings loved the way Iknoor shut him up because it was difficult to shut Nirvair up.

"Aap vacancy mat dhundiye,I want this job"Iknoor said and Mahir gave her a smile.

"That's what I had expected from you"Mahir said patting her head.

"Dekho beta,as doctor's we are going to be in touch situations,uss time emotional na hokr practically sochna padega.It's okay to cry on a patient's loss,we are human too,we have emotions too,but usmein itna nhi dobna h okay?there are many other's who needs us"Mahir said and Iknoor nodded hearing that.

He was right.

"Meine bhi toh yahi sab kaha tha isse"Nirvair mumbled under his breath but Iknoor heard her because he was sitting beside her.

"Tumhara hrr cheez mein bolna zaruri h na?"Iknoor asked him making everyone chuckle at her words.

Nirvair sighed but didn't say anything.

"Tu upar jaa kamre mein!"Mahir said because he was disturbing their conversation.

"Mein chai peene ke liye ruka hu!"Nirvair said.

"Ha woh aa jayegi room mein,tu jaa"Mahir said and Nirvair rolled his eyes as he left.

"Are you joining back from tomorrow or do you need a few days off?"Mahir asked her once Nirvair left

"I will join back from tomorrow.....I am so sorry meine itne immaturely behave kiya aapke saath, hospital mein bhi aur ghar mein bhi"Iknoor said truly ashamed of the way she had behaved with everyone who had tried to cheer her up.

"Koi nhi puttar,tu tab udaas thi"Pinky dadi said brushing away her apology which she had said looking at everyone.

"Ha,lekin agar aage aisa kuch bhi ho aur tum mujhe resignation letter bhejogi na toh I will accept it and you won't be getting your job back, Sanjeevani Hospital follows highly professional work style"Mahir said and Iknoor nodded her head at that because she was aware about the way the hospital worked,she had worked their for 6 months now and wants to work their till she could!

"Jao jaakr freshen up ho jao"Bela said to her and Iknoor nodded at that.

She went towards her room and saw Nirvair sitting on the bed.

"Lao chai do"Nirvair said as he saw the cup of tea in her hand.

"Yeh meri h!"Iknoor said,she had got this for herself because she needed a cup of tea the most for now.

"Meri kaha h?"Nirvair asked her.

"Mujhe kya pata?"Iknoor said making him sigh.

"Wese.....Thank you,mujhe samjhane ke liye"Iknoor said,no matter how angry she was with him,he did made her see the right things so she should thank him for that.

"It's okay"Nirvair said giving her a smile but she narrowed her eyes at him making him frown.

Now what?

"Pr iska matlab yeh nhi h ki we are on good terms!we are still on the same page we were from the wedding night!"Iknoor said as she sat on the couch sipping her tea.

Nirvair sighed hearing that but nodded,he didn't wanted to say anything to her for now,she was finally a lil normal and he didn't wanted to ruin her mood.

Nirvair went to the bathroom to freshen up and then went downstairs as Iknoor was freshening up.

"Kya yrr papa!aapne kaha tha chai bhijwa rahe ho mere liye!"Nirvair said as he asked an househelp to get him a cup of tea.

"Meine kaha tha aa jayegi room mein agar tu kisi ko bolega toh,meine yeh thodi kaha tha ki mein bhijwa raha hu?mein toh Iknoor se baat kr raha tha na"Mahir said making Nirvair glare at him.

"Bhai,bhabhi ne aapko kese chup karaya!haaye ab maza aayega!ab aapki bolti band krnewali jo aa gayi h iss ghar mein!"Shivansh teased him.

"Mein chup isliye tha taaki woh wapas rona na shuru kr de!"Nirvair said making everyone chuckle at his defence.

Soon enough the dinner was also set and Iknoor too came downstairs till then.

She was surprised to see rajma chawal for the dinner.

It was her favourite thing in the world after rasam and rice.

Her Nani makes the most yummiest rajma chawal and she can eat it anytime!

She enjoyed her dinner and Bela was glad she did because she had asked her bhabhi what Iknoor likes and then she had prepared it so that Iknoor cheers up a lil.

Post dinner,the family sat together as they always did and after spending some time together they all dispersed into their respective rooms.

Iknoor went and changed into her night dress but when she came out she frowned seeing Nirvair laying down a mattress on the floor.

What was he doing now?

"Yeh kya kr rahe ho tum?"Iknoor couldn't help but ask.

"Tum bed pr so sakti ho,mein yaha neeche so jaunga"Nirvair said as he put a blanket and pillow over it.

"Nirvair, please ab yeh naya argument shuru mat karo"Iknoor said because she just wanted to sleep peacefully, tomorrow she was going to join her work back.

"Mein koi argument shuru nhi kr raha hu!tum bed pr so jao,couch itna comfortable nhi h,I know kyuki mein so chuka hu uspr"Nirvair said.

"It's okay,tumhe itna accha banne ki zarurat nhi h,meri itni chinta mat karo tum"She said and Nirvair could easily understand the taunt in her tone.

"Tumhe jo samajhna h samjho,I had a long day,I am sleeping"Nirvair said as he laid down on the mattress covering himself with the blanket.

He can't keep on explaining his intentions to her all the time.

Iknoor sighed.

She kept staring at him,the bed and the couch for a min.

She then went and occupied the bed,if he was anyway sacrificing by sleeping on the floor she might as well take the bed.

If he was in any way pretending to be good to hear,she knows he can't pretend for long because there would be a time that he would get fed up doing it.

Next morning,

Iknoor woke up and didn't found him in the room,he had kept the mattress back at it's place though.

He might have gone to the gym,she knows he does gym in the morning for 2 hours before getting ready for the day.

She went and had a bath,getting ready for the day.

She went downstairs and smiled seeing Bela in the kitchen,she had seen her mother in law always in the kitchen making food for the family.

"Good morning aunty"Iknoor said and Bela smiled at her seeing her in a much better mood than she was these previous days.

"Good morning beta"Bela said.

"Mein aapki kya help karu?"Iknoor asked because her mother in law already had done half of the work.

How can a person get up this early and start working?

She can't!

Not household work atleast.

"Almost sab ho hi gaya h,tum chaho toh chai bana do"Bela said and Iknoor nodded and started doing that.

Even Aayat came to the kitchen ready to go to her college.

"Mumma,hum sandwich bana de,aapko pata h Iti natak karengi parathe ke liye"Aayat asked and Bela nodded at that.

"Yeh ek pehli h jisko Bela bhabhi ke haath ke parathe pasand nhi h,wrna baaki sab toh deewane h inke parathe ke liye"Choti said as she was in the kitchen only.

"Haa pr Iti aisi hi h,wese bhi kal raat humse kehkr soyi thi ki agar Paratha hua breakfast mein toh woh school nhi jayengi ya breakfast nhi karengi"Aayat said making the ladies chuckle at that.

This was the first time Iknoor was actually listening to what they had to say,the past week she had been so busy overthinking everything that she hadn't really paid much attention to anything around her.

They all set the breakfast table and settled down to have their breakfast.

"Mumma thode paratha ek tiffin mein pack kr dena na please,Ali ne bola h woh breakfast krke nhi aa raha h"Nirvair said as he had the poha instead of the paratha.

"Ha,ek mere bete aur meri poti ko chodkr sabko mere paratha pasand h"Bela said staring at Iti who was having sandwich instead of the paratha.

Iti and Nirvair looked at eachother.

"Aapke parathon mein itna ghee hota h na,ki mere 2 ghante ke gym ki band baj jaati h"Nirvair said.

"Arre healthy hota h subah subah strong breakfast krna,yeh poha, sandwich se kya hota h?"Bela said and Iknoor did agreed with her.

"Chod re Itudi mumma sirf hame guilty feel karana chahti h"Nirvair said as he saw the pout on Iti's face.

"Aap naraz h dadi?"Iti asked cutely making Bela's heart melt.

"Aapse nhi beta,aapke buddy se"Bela said.

"Buddy sorry boliye jaldi se!dadi maaf kr dengi!"Iti said looking at Nirvair who fake gasped hearing that.

"Meri galti kya h pr?"Nirvair asked.

Iti went into thought but then shook her head at his words.

"Nhi,aap sorry boliye bas"Iti said making everyone laugh.

"Acha baba sorry bas!ab apni dadi ko bolo mujhe maaf kare"Nirvair said and Iti did as asked.

"Chalo Iti beta,late ho jayengi aap wrna"Mahir said as he got up as he was done with his breakfast.

"Rukiye abhi,usne doodh nhi piya h ab tak"Bela said making him sigh but he did wait.

"Mein chala,kya h na kisi ki tarah mujhe late nhi hona h"Nirvair said intentionally teasing Mahir who rolled his eyes at him.

"By Itudi"Nirvair said and Iti did the same.

As he left Iknoor was also done with her breakfast so she thought to ask Hriday if he wanted to come along because they were going to the same place,she can't ask Mahir that because he was her boss and it would be a lil awkward but Hriday was her junior and also her devar so it wasn't awkward at all.
