Finally after meeting Nirvair for another time,Iknoor said yes for the marriage.She did had a full on discussion with her bhabhi about her decision because she was not confident enough about her decision,she needed her bhabhi's expert advise and after thinking of all the pros and cons of this marriage she finally said a yes!

On the other side,the Sehgal's after trying to convince Nirvair a lot of times gave up and decided to say yes for the wedding, Nirvair didn't protested about it but he showed his displeasure even when Andy asked him his decision for the last time.As he wasn't agreeing to this marriage and also wasn't giving a valid reason expect stubbornly saying that he doesn't wants to get married,the family decided to themselves take this decision of his life.

The Sehgal's were preparing everything because today Iknoor's family was going to come to their house so that with the help of Panditji they can fix a wedding date.Everyone was home as it was a Sunday and so they all were trying to make everything perfect.

"Tu kaha jaa raha h?"Bela asked as she saw Nirvair descending the steps dressed in his usual office attire.

"Meri meeting h bht important ussi ke liye jaa raha hu"Nirvair said everyone glared at him.

"Woh log aa rahe h aaj shadi ki date fix krne"Choti maa said.

"So?"Nirvair asked not getting what she wanted to say.

"Toh aapko ghar pr hona chahiye na Nirvair bhai!bhabhi bhi aayengi unke saath,ladka aur ladki ka hona toh zaruri hota h!"Aayat said softly trying to convince him to stay home.

"Mere paas time nhi h iss sab ke liye,meri meeting bht important h,mein jaa raha hu"Nirvair said and walked towards the door.

"Can't you cancel it?"Andy asked.

"Meine kaha tha na dadu,meri priority mera kaam h! toh nhi,mein yeh meeting cancel nhi kr sakta"Nirvair turned and said.

"Pr aapki hi shadi ki baat h bhai,aapko hona chahiye "Aashi said.

"Meri marzi se nhi ho rahi h yeh shadi,jese meri marzi ke Bina haa bol diya,wese hi mere bina date bhi fix kr lijiye aap log"Nirvair said bitterly and left.

Everyone sighed at his actions.

He was still sour about this wedding.

When will he accept it??

"Rehne dijiye dad,Iknoor bhi nhi aane wali h aaj,she has a delivery,the families can decide the wedding dates"Mahir said.

"Aapko kese pata bhabhi nhi aane wali h papa?"Aashi asked getting curious.

"She works at my hospital!"Mahir pointed out and Aashi nodded.

"Bas shadi tak yeh maan jaye"Dadi said and everyone hoped the same.

"Chalo tum sab kaam pr lago,woh log aate hi honge aur Maahi dekh Panditji nikle ya nhi"Bela said and Maahi nodded.

Soon enough everything was ready,they all were ready too and the Panditji had also arrived,they were just waiting for Iknoor's family to arrive.

"Mumma kon aa raha h?"Iti asked as she settled on her mother's lap.

"Aapke buddy ki shadi hone wali h Iti,toh ussi ke liye Panditji aane wale h,aur aapki badi maa ki family bhi aa rahi h"Hriday said with a smile.

"Hamari badi maa nhi h papa"Iti stated,she didn't had a badi maa.

"Haa pr ab aapki badi maa bhi aane wali h,aapke buddy shadi krne wale h unse,phir woh yahi rahengi hamare saath,issi ghar mein"Aayat said trying to make her lil girl understand.

Iti nodded her head at that as if she understood.

"Ab aap ekdam shant bethiyega Iti,guests aa rahe h na?toh aap bilkul kisi ko pareshan mat kijiyega!"Aayat added and Iti pouted hearing that.

"Pr hum kisi ko pareshan nhi krte h,h na dadu?"Iti asked as she went towards Mahir who pulled her on his lap.

"Bilkul bhi nhi,meri Iti toh bht samajhdar h"Mahir said as always taking his dearest granddaughter's side.

Soon enough Iknoor's family arrived,her thatha-Patti,nani-nanu, periamma-periappa,bhai-bhabhi were the ones that arrived to discuss about the wedding date,they had already informed the Sehgal's about Iknoor's absence because of some work she had at the hospital.

Once they were greeted and asked to sit,Andy introduced the rest of the family to them because when they had visited their house everyone didn't went along.

Post the introductions they were offered a few snacks and then they decided to ask the Panditji for the auspicious occasion of the wedding.

The Panditji had already been given the kundali's of both Iknoor and Nirvair and he was trying to find an appropriate date for their wedding.

"Aaj se thik 3 mahine baad yaani ki 15 January ko bht accha muhurat h,aur uske baad seedhe 22 January ko,agar inn dono muhurat mein shadi nhi hui toh phir uske baad acha muhurat seedhe 1.5 saal baad ka h"The Panditji said and both the families stared at eachother.

They wanted the wedding to take place soon so they were sure the date after 1.5 years was out of question!

"Dekhiye Mr.Sehgal,hum chahta h ki shadi South Indian rituals ke saath ho,hamara ghar mein ek hi beti h aakhir"Iknoor's Thatha said.

The Sehgal's didn't know what to say to that,they were right on their part on wanting the marriage to be in their traditions but Sehgal's too wanted a full-fledged big fat Punjabi wedding,it was the first wedding of their family after all!well first because in Hriday's wedding they weren't a part so technically the first marriage in the family was Nirvair's!

"Tussi tension na lo ji,Punjabi tareeke se bhi shadi hogi!ab hum bhi toh Punjabi h na?aur hamari bhi ek natin h,toh dhum dhadake se shadi toh hame bhi krni hi h"Iknoor's nanu said.

"Phir shadi kis tareeke se kare?"Sumitra asked in confusion.

Will they have to fight now for the style of wedding?

They didn't wanted any chaos before marriage!

"Don't worry!Panditji ne wesa bhi 2 muhurtam bataya h,hum dono tareeke se shadi kr sakta h,South Indian style se bhi aur Punjabi style se bhi,dates toh paas paas hi h na dono muhurat ka!"Iknoor's Patti said and the everyone sighed in relief hearing that.

Twice the wedding!

Well Nirvair was sulking for even getting married one time and here they all were talking about getting the two married two times in both the styles.

"Pr agar Punjabi tareeke se krni h shadi toh phir to Amritsar mein krni padegi na bade papa?"Shivaay asked. Andy nodded at that.

"O ji aap tension mat lo,hamara ghar h Amritsar mein hi,toh koi dikkat nhi hogi"Iknoor's nani said.

"Pr south Indian wedding hamara ghar se hoga, Vishakapatnam se"Iknoor's Thatha said.

They all lived in Vishakapatnam,it would only make sense if Iknoor's wedding is done in that house were she had also spent some of her childhood and adulthood.

"Itne jaldi dono tareeke se shadi arrange krna mushkil ho jayega I guess"Bela said,the thought of the marriage being held in two styles had her in tension.

How will they arrange it in just 3 months!?

"Ha toh aisa krte h na ki Punjabi wedding ki saari taiyaari hum kr lete h Amritsar mein aur South Indian wedding ki taiyaari aap log kr lijiye Vishakapatnam mein,this way there will be less stress on either of  us"Andy suggested and everyone smiled hearing that.

This would be best!

"Yeh toh best h!"Iknoor's thatha said.

Soon the families started discussing how the weddings shall take place,they were already informing each other of the way they would want the wedding to happen,it was better if they already talked about it,rather than having miscommunication and arguments later on.

It was decided that the Sehgal family will arrange for Iknoor's outfit and jewellery in the Punjabi wedding because the in-laws do that in Punjabi weddings.

Also the Iyer's had made it clear that they don't want the Sehgal's to purchase anything for Iknoor in the south Indian wedding because Iknoor's Periappa and chittappa had various jewellery shops all over Andhra Pradesh and so they wanted Iknoor to wear the jewellery from their side.

"Pr shadi ka joda toh ladke wale hi dete h na aunty"Bela asked when they even denied them to purchase the wedding outfit for the South Indian wedding.

"Ha puttar ji,pr kya h na Iknoor ne hamesha se decide kiya hua tha ki woh apni maa ka hi shadi ka joda pehnegi apni shadi mein bhi,isliye aap Punjabi wedding mein chahe toh sab apni taraf se dijiye pr south Indian wedding mein usse uski maa ki hi Saadi pehni h,I hope aap log bura nhi maanenge iss cheez ka"Iknoor's nani said.

"Aunty it's just that Noorie chahti h that our parents be with us in her wedding,by wearing mumma's saree and jewellery she wants to feel her presence,bas aur kuch nhi,I request you ki aap log iss baat ka bura na maane,it was decided long back,aap logo ke rishta bhejne se bhi bht pehele se"Ikbir said trying to convince the Sehgal's,he wants everything to happen according to her sister's desire in her wedding.

He doesn't want her to feel as if she had to compromise on anything she wished!

"Nhi,nhi beta,it's fine with us,hame bilkul bura nhi lagega,wese bhi Iknoor aur Nirvair ki hi shadi h,unki marzi se hi sab hona chahiye"Bela said with a smile and Ikbir returned it.

The family wasn't bad after all!

Soon enough they had decided that the Sehgal's would reach a week ago in Vishakapatnam for the pre-wedding rituals,they won't do the pre-wedding rituals twice.

So it was decided that first the pre-wedding rituals shall happen,then the south Indian wedding,but the bidaai won't happen now,the couple would go to Tirupati Balaji and seek the almighty blessings there because it was a ritual in the Iyer family to do so post wedding after that everyone would fly to Amritsar,were the Punjabi wedding shall take place and then the bidaai shall happen so that the Sehgal's can take Iknoor with them to Mumbai.

Soon enough it was also decided that the families shall have a small roka ceremony where the Sehgal's shall go to Iknoor's house and perform the roka ceremony there,the Iyer's were okay with it.

As everything was decided the ladies of both the families started their discussion about the shopping, Iknoor's periamma was kind enough to say that she shall accompany them to purchase clothes for the South Indian wedding because the Sehgal's had zero knowledge about South Indian clothes.

"Aap logo ko hamare yaha aana chahiye,shadi ki shopping ke liye,mein aapko best shops pr lekr jayega,sarees aur kapdo ke liye"Iknoor's periamma said and the Sehgal ladies instantly agreed wi

th it.

"Haa aur aap log hamara baaki ka family se bhi mil lega shadi se pehle!"Iknoor's Patti said.

So everything was decided then!
